Ann Jones, MA, CCC-SLP, CDP

Ann is the owner and founder of Functional Speech Solutions.

Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University in 1991 and her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Iowa in 1993. She is currently licensed to provide services in Iowa and Illinois.

Throughout her career, Ann has worked in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient and home health care. She has fulfilled roles as a direct care provider, supervisor, mentor, and manager.

Ann has experience evaluating and treating adults with aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication disorders as well as dysphagia.

In addition, Ann has specialized and advanced training in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for persons with Parkinson’s Disease, SPEAK OUT!® therapy, the McNeill Dysphagia Treatment Protocol, myofunctional therapy and dementia.

Ann resides in Davenport, Iowa. She is proud to be the mom to two grown children and her senior dog, Cooper. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, reading, and exercising.
